The latest news:

We're looking for relevant art censorship news and related content to syndicate or publish on this site. If you or your organization has content that can be fed to us please contact us at content*@*fearnoart.com. We don't have the resources to provide blogs or other on-site publishing yet ($$$), but there are many ways we can get your words onto these pages in the meantime.

We would like to build a community of artists of all kinds, not in a MySpace type environment, but rather one where every member has their own unique site that they design and control, hosted under the fearnoart.com umbrella and connected by a central portal that shares content, blogs and discussions from across members' sites.

Would you like to have your art web site hosted by us at "yourname.fearnoart.com" at a reasonable cost? We're working on it! We are currently seeking a quality hosting company (or partner) who can provide us with stand-alone subdomain site hosting with some good features (Content management, blogs etc) and automated user signup and payment systems. If you are such a host or know of one please get in touch with us at hosting*@*fearnoart.com.

About FEAR NO ART:

Artist Andre Miripolsky first coined the phrase (as far as we know) in a painting in the late 1980's. New Art Voices, an alternative arts org I co-founded in 1993 was (as far as we know) the first to use the slogan in print in May of 1994 on the now-famous bumper sticker. While our former organization and, later, myself have distributed (mainly for free) over 10,000 FNA bumper stickers, it has since taken on a life of it's own. If you find any photos from Burning Man 2000 with an FNA sticker shown, you can rest assured that I gave the sticker to the owner, not to mention hundreds given out on the long journey by truck from Lancaster, PA to Black Rock City and back. My home town of Lancaster, PA is littered with the damned things... good thing too'cause we need 'em here!

P.S. - If you came here looking for a notorious character who hides behind the forum alias "k8fearsnoart", she's my wife ;-)
